Annie Duke's poker site gets Cereus.

They were sister sites before, but now Absolute Poker and UltimateBet are going to be more like Siamese twins after they integrate their customers onto their new Cereus poker platform.

The management of Absolute Poker and UltimateBet announced Thursday the upcoming launch of a new poker platform that will bring customers and features from both poker rooms together onto the Cereus online poker network.

"Cereus is the result of more than 12 months innovation and development," said the press release from the two companies.

While Absolute Poker and UltimateBet will be joining the same network, they will still retain their unique assets to continue as individual brands. The difference will be that they will share more players, more action and more tournaments while being able to offer new features and massive promotions.

"I am so excited to announce the launch of our new poker network Cereus. This is a huge landmark for our company and online poker," said Paul Laggett, Absolute Poker and UltimateBet chief operations officer.

"I'm confident that Absolute Poker and UltimateBet customers will be thrilled by the new platform, and we look forward to welcoming many new players from around the world."

Lagget said Cereus not only delivers the best online poker experience, it enables the company to improve operations and deliver better value and service to customers.

"Our company's goal is to provide poker players with the ultimate online experience. The launch of CEREUS is a major step for us in achieving our goal and we look forward to making many more exciting announcements very soon."
