At the time when the poker community clearly struggles under YouTube and Twitch continuously strickening regulations towards poker content, WSOP found an unexpected way to encourage poker creators by starting a brand new initiative — WSOP Vlogger Program.

How it works, why (and if) the poker community needs it and what you can do to join — read in this PokerLitings article.

After a tremendously successful start of Crazy Freerolls, WPT Global announced that the number of players wishing to participate in this promotion exceeded even the most brave expectations and showed the brand’s bottleneck — servers’ capacity. So, WPT Global decided to pause Crazy Freerolls until October 1st, 2025 to upgrade their system and restart the promotion in better conditions. As an apology gift for this inconvenience, WPT Global will give every player an entry into $100K Super Crazy Freeroll. All points and rewards earned before promotion’s delay remain valid.

There are just 11 players left in the €5,300 EPT Barcelona 2025 Main Event, each now one cooler, one flip, or one miracle board away from reaching the final table. From a field of 2,045 entries, the survivors have locked up €102,150 each, but all eyes are on the €1,436,000 top prize still looming at the end of this nine-day marathon.

Day 5 was a textbook mix of precision poker and tournament chaos — aces cracked, flips lost, and for a few lucky ones, stacks soared. Leading the way is Anton Suarez, who took control after winning the largest pot of the event late in the day and bagged 15,340,000 — nearly 60% more than his closest challenger.

After almost two months of testing the waters, CoinPoker decided it was now or never, making 4-hour leaderboards for cash players permanent.

There are six CoinRaces Leaderboards of two types for different stakes of NLHE, PLO and PLO5, excluding HU tables:

  • $3,000 Leaderboard for cash games NL/PL50 or lower
  • $9,000 Leaderboard for cash games NL/PL100 or higher

When WPT Global launched its $2 Million Crazy Freerolls promotion earlier this month, the setup was already ambitious — daily freerolls with $10,000 guaranteed and a weekly $100,000 Sunday finale. We covered the full details in our original Crazy Freerolls article, but one week in, the numbers are showing just how much traction these events have gained.

Day 4 of the €5,300 EPT Barcelona 2025 Main Event has wrapped, and with just 29 players remaining, the pressure is finally starting to match the payouts. What began as a 2,045-entry field — the third-largest EPT Main Event in history — is now down to a few tables’ worth of contenders, all chasing the €1,436,000 first prize.

At the top of the chip counts sits France’s Yohan Rascar, who bagged 5,725,000 — the only player to end the day above five million. Close behind are Sergio Carro Marin of Spain and Sebastian Ionita of Romania, with 4,275,000 and 3,670,000 respectively.

If you somehow haven’t noticed, EPT Barcelona 2025 is in full swing, and we’re kicking off our series of interviews from the festival with a familiar face. PokerStars ambassador and Spanish commentator David “Dauchvid” Gutiérrez Gómez sat down with our very own Melvin Schroen to talk about the atmosphere in Barcelona, his role as a commentator, and the dream of seeing a Spanish player lift the Main Event trophy.

This is just the first of several conversations PokerListings be sharing from the floor in Barcelona.

From 2,045 hopefuls to just 103 left standing, Day 3 of the €5,300 EPT Barcelona Main Event was all about money, momentum, and one particularly cruel set of cracked aces.

The bubble loomed early — just ten eliminations were needed to lock up a payday — and it didn’t take long. After about 90 minutes of play, the hand-for-hand phase began and ended almost immediately in classic EPT style: a three-way bubble-burst.

Malta became a hottest spot of 2025 due to constantly growing selection of live series and expansion of online satellite offers in different poker rooms but especially those that are part of the iPoker Network.

And so the fall of 2025 starts with a new Malta-oriented promotion in RedStar Poker and other iPoker rooms with more than €61,000 guaranteed in packages and tickets.

Note: all Malta Poker Festival satellites can be found in the RedStar Poker lobby —> Poker tab —> Tourney section —> search for Autumn or Malta.

It’s official: the 2025 EPT Barcelona 2025 Main Event is the third-largest in tour history.

A total of 2,045 entries pushed the prize pool to €9,918,250, confirming that this year’s edition has surpassed both 2023 and 2024 in field size — but falls just short of the 2022 peak of 2,294. It also marks a nice round milestone: 20 years of EPT Barcelona, and now more than 25,000 total entries across those editions. Not a bad anniversary stat.

With 303 places paid and a top prize of €1,436,000, the remaining players are now just ten bust-outs away from the money as Day 2 came to a close.

The Irish Poker Cup is getting a six-figure twist this year — if, that is, you know your way around an online Day 1.

WPT Global has announced an exclusive €100,000 bonus for players who make the top 30 in its $815 (€700) OnLive Day 1 on August 31 and then go on to win the €500,000 GTD Main Event live in Killarney. Those 30 players will earn a Golden Ticket — no chocolate factory required, but still potentially quite sweet.

The best part? You don’t even have to survive the online flight to stay eligible for the bonus. Bust out early, buy into a live Day 1 in Ireland, win the Main Event anyway—and WPT Global will still add €100K to your prize.

iPoker Network continues to treat poker players nicely in 2025 with the new series and accompanying promotions with cumulative guarantee over €10,000,000.

The series of NLH and PLO events with buy-ins from €1 to €1,000 takes place between September 4th and October 13th, 2025 but the special Ticket Masters promo is already on-air.

It may still be summer, but PokerStars is already looking ahead to September — with spreadsheets. The Southern Europe Championship of Online Poker (SECOOP) returns a little earlier than usual, running September 7–28, and packing a cool €10 million in guaranteed prize pools across 261 events.

Now in its seventh year, SECOOP has steadily built its reputation as the online series for players in France, Spain, and Portugal, and if €8 million awarded in 2024 didn’t prove that, this year’s schedule is happy to do the talking. The buy-ins range from €10 to €250, and the calendar covers three full weeks and four Sundays, which means plenty of time to chase a trophy (or three) without abandoning your sleep schedule completely.

A few events stand out—on paper and in prize pool:

€250 Sunday Million Mystery BountySeptember 7€1M GTD
€50 Spicy 50September 14€200K GTD
€250 Main Event Mystery BountySeptember 21€400K GTD

All three are trophy events and a spot on the leaderboard if that sort of thing fuels your motivation.
