Nominations for the 3rd Global Poker Awards

The nominations for the 3rd Global Poker Awards were announced this night. A panel of poker insiders, media and fans nominated four candidates each in numerous categories in two rounds of voting.
The awards will be presented on 18 February and prizes will be awarded in 26 categories. Among them are three People's Choice Awards, which are determined exclusively by a vote from the fans.
The three winners, who will be determined via the GPI ranking, have already been announced:
- GPI Player of the Year: Ali Imsirovic
- GPI Player of the Year: Nadya Magnus
- GPI Mid Major Player of the Year: David Mzareulov
