PokerStars MicroMillions Returns for 2026 With $2M+ Guaranteed

PokerStars MicroMillions Returns for 2026 With $2M+ Guaranteed

Poker has its fair share of celebrities, but even they had to start somewhere. Maybe even more importantly, the majority of people sitting down at poker tables aren’t professionals at all. They’re recreational players, newcomers, and low-stakes grinders still figuring out just how far their bankroll can take them.

That’s the crowd PokerStars’ MicroMillions has traditionally been built for, and the series is returning this August with another two weeks of low-stakes tournament action. Buy-ins start at just $1.10, more than $2 million is guaranteed across the festival, and the schedule culminates with a $250,000 guaranteed Main Event.

Coming directly after WCOOP Boot Camp and shortly before WCOOP itself, MicroMillions is some sort of final soundcheck before PokerStars‘ biggest online festival of the year takes over.

The MicroMillions 2026 Basics

MicroMillions returns to PokerStars from August 16 through August 31, with the entire series taking place online.

Keeping with the age old philosophy behind the festival, buy-ins are still at the lower end of the PokerStars tournament schedule, ranging from $1.10 to $22. Despite those small entry fees, PokerStars has still put more than $2 million in guarantees on the 2026 schedule.

What’s on the MicroMillions Schedule?

While $1.10 represents the bottom of the buy-in range, the largest tournaments on the schedule still come with five- and six-figure guarantees.

The opening Sunday on August 16 featured an $11 Sunday Storm PKO with $75,000 guaranteed alongside the $22 Sunday High Roller, which carries another $75,000 guarantee. While their initial editions are wrapped, both tournaments return one week later on August 23.

That comes on August 30, when the $22 PKO Main Event puts at least $250,000 on the line. Players who don’t want to pay the full entry can qualify through satellites starting from $2.20.

For newer players, this could be their first taste of a major PokerStars festival before the stakes climb with the World Championship of Online Poker in September.

Either way, from August 16, the spotlight moves away from the enormous summer buy-ins for a while. This time, it’s the micro-stakes players’ turn.
