In 4-max, it seemed Samuel “€urop€an” Vousden was not going to win this tournament, as his stack had been reduced to just 5.5 big blinds. However, he managed to come back and set an unusual record.

How The Action Unfolds At The $10K GGMillion$ Final Table

Vousden began the final table with the fourth-largest stack. In 7-max play, he pulled off a bluff and moved up to second place. Effective stack: 35 BB. On a board of K J 3 7 J , Vousden fired three barrels with all-in on the river with A Q , forcing mufasa1995 to fold 10 10 .

But things started going wrong in 4-max. Vousden lost pot after pot. The most critical hand came against Simon Beckmann. Effective stack: 15 BB. Vousden opened from the BTN with pocket nines, while Beckmann defended the BB with K8s. The flop came A-K-8. Vousden c-bet, Beckmann called. The turn was a 2, and both players checked. The river brought a 4. Beckmann bet 6.7 BB into a pot of 7.2 BB. After thinking for two minutes, Vousden called, leaving himself with just 5.5 BB.

In 3-max, Vousden won a big pot against Daniel “Coco Bongo Reg” Lakerveld. Effective stack: 18 BB. Vousden opened from the SB with KQo, while Lakerveld defended the BB with T3s. The board ran out 3-J-A-A-T. Vousden bet small on the flop. Both players checked the turn. On the river, Lakerveld bet 5.4 BB into an 8 BB pot, and Vousden responded with a shove. Lakerveld folded.

Vousden then 4-bet pocket kings against mofo0637 and extracted one street of value, winning a 29 BB pot.

Vousden eliminated mofo0637 in third place: AA > KJo, 36 BB pot. mofo0637 simply open-shoved from the SB.

Vousden entered heads-up play with 52 BB against Lakerveld’s 22 BB. They played only three hands, and Vousden won all of them.

In the final hand, the effective stack was 8.3 BB. Vousden limped preflop with 7 9 , while Lakerveld checked with 8 6 . The flop came 4 7 10 , and both players checked. The turn was 7 . Lakerveld bet pot for 2.24 BB, and Vousden called. The river brought the 8 . Lakerveld bet 1.7 BB, Vousden shoved, and Lakerveld called off his remaining 4.4 BB.
