Biography
Born in Hong Kong, Vousden grew up in Salo, Finland, having moved with his parents at a young age. He would also begin his online poker journey at a young age. According to available records, his first known online result dates back to around 2010, with a deep run in the WPT Online Championship’s $1,500 + 75 No Limit Hold’em – Superstack event, where he finished 3rd for $60,489.
Vousden continued to be successful early on, quickly building his bankroll. In 2014, he took down the iconic $215 Sunday Million for $185,400, besting a huge field of 6,685 players.
He has credited being part of a community of fellow players, such as Patrick “pads1161” Leonard, which helped him continue to develop his skills and strategies. Vousden has also acknowledged that “playing against the best players” has helped him to succeed and learn.
