Michael Mizrachi Entered the 4-Max $10K WSOP Main Event Final Table as a Massive Chip Leader

Mizrachi will continue with a stack of 178 BB, while the other three remaining players have a combined total of just 56 BB. Here’s how Day 9 of the WSOP Main Event unfolded.

Daehyung Lee Finished in 9th Place ($1,000,000)

Effective stack: 22 BB. Lee opened from early position with A Q , John Wasnock defended the BB with 5 5 . Board: Q J 5 . Wasnock check-raised the flop, Lee shoved all-in. Wasnock snap-called.

Jarod Minghini Finished in 8th Place ($1,250,000)

Effective stack: 15 BB. Minghini opened from the BTN with AQs, Hallaert 3-bet with 4 4 . Minghini snap-called for all of his chips. Board: 3 2 6 8 10 .

Here Comes One of Mizrachi’s Most Memorable Hands

Mizrachi’s comeback started at 7-max. Effective stack: 36 BB. Dunaway opened from CO with Q 9 . Wasnock on the BTN 3-bet with K K . Mizrachi 4-bet from the SB with A K . Wasnock 5-bet, Mizrachi called. It was a 75.5 BB pot for the chip lead!

  • Flop: 9 7 J — safe enough for Wasnock.
  • Turn: Q — Mizrachi picked up more outs.
  • River — Welcome Barry Greenstein! — A ! Mizrachi hit his one time!

Leo Margets Finished in 7th Place ($1,500,000)

Leo Margets was card dead at the final table. Effective stack: 20 BB. Margets found A 10 and decided to complete from the SB, but Hallaert shoved from the BB. Margets thought for a moment and called. Hallaert showed 6 6 . There was some hope for Margets to double up on the J 7 5 A board, but the 9 on the river ended her tournament.

Leo Margets already made history by becoming the first woman in 30 years to reach the final table of the WSOP Main Event. However, she didn’t break the record. In 1995, Barbara Enright finished 5th in the Main Event ($114.8K). That event had 273 entries; the 2025 edition had 9,735.

Adam Hendrix Finished in 6th Place ($1,900,000)

“Easy game” for Michael Mizrachi continued. Effective stack: 28 BB. Mizrachi opened with A K , Hendrix 3-bet with J J . Mizrachi shoved, Hendrix called for his tournament life. A king came on the turn.

Mizrachi also won another big pot against Kenny Hallaert in 5-max. On the K 10 3 Q 4 board, Mizrachi triple-barreled with Q 10 and got paid off by K J . After this hand, Mizrachi’s stack exceeded 200 BB.

Luka Bojovic Finished in 5th Place ($2,400,000)

Bojovic jammed from CO with an 8 BB stack holding A K and got snap-called by Wasnock in the BB with A J . Board: 3 4 2 J 6 .

After this hand, the players played four more hands and ended the session.
