Phil Hellmuth bagged 173,000 chips. Both of his sons are also still in the field: Nicolas Hellmuth advanced with 24,000, while Phil Hellmuth III finished with 75,500.
As a reminder, Hellmuth made a side bet with Shaun Deeb and Jason Mo that his son, Phil Hellmuth III, would cash in the Main Event. Hellmuth put up $14,000. If his son misses the money, Hellmuth loses the bet. If he cashes, Deeb and Mo will pay Hellmuth an amount equal to Phil III’s tournament winnings.
