Michael Mizrachi Crowned WSOP Main Event Champion And Fast-Tracked Into the Poker Hall of Fame

This was the fastest final table in WSOP Main Event history — Michael Mizrachi secured the win in just 20 hands from 4-handed play.

From 4-max to heads-up in just two hands

In the first hand, Kenny Hallaert shoved 8 bb with AQo, and Mizrachi called in the big blind with KJs — a jack hit the turn.

In the next hand, Mizrachi shoved ATs from the small blind, and Braxton Dunaway unexpectedly called off his 10 bb stack with T6s — Mizrachi made a flush on the turn.

Mizrachi and Dunaway played 18 more hands before a winner was crowned

Mizrachi entered heads-up with 196 BB, John Wasnock with 37 BB.

In the final hand, with an effective stack of 30 BB, Wasnock opened preflop and Mizrachi defended his big blind. Both connected with the board: Wasnock made two pair, while Mizrachi had a flush draw. They both checked, and Mizrachi completed his flush on the turn — all of Wasnock’s chips ended up in the middle.
