Vladimir Korzinin Eyes the Double

Triton Poker has confirmed that Vladimir Korzinin will play in the $200K Invitational taking place from May 19 to 21.
The $200K Triton Invitational follows a unique “Invitee + Pro” format, where players register in pairs. Korzinin will be teaming up with Jesse Lonis.

This will be Korzinin’s second appearance in the tournament. Gambledore made a bombshell debut at Triton Monte Carlo 2024, finishing runner-up in the same $200K Invitational for $3.47 million, losing heads-up to Patrik Antonius.

But that wasn’t all — he also won the $150K NLHE event for $4.35 million. Immediately after the victory, he handed his trophy to heads-up opponent Ossi Ketola and “rode off into the sunset,” declining any winner interviews.

Where Has Vladimir Korzinin Been All This Time?

Since then, Korzinin has vanished from poker media and hasn’t recorded a single documented ITM finish.

However, he was unexpectedly spotted in Bucerías, Mexico, playing a local poker series with buy-ins up to $1K. It turns out Gambledore has been living in Mexico for the past three years and simply enjoys playing tournaments regardless of the stakes. Reddit users also claimed to have seen him at a 1/3 cash game in Estonia.

Triton Montenegro runs from May 13 to 27 and features 16 events in NLHE and PLO with buy-ins ranging from $25K to $200K. Every tournament will be streamed live on Twitch and YouTube. In addition to English-language streams, Triton will also broadcast in Brazilian Portuguese, Vietnamese, Thai, Mandarin, and Russian.
