It Was Just Fun!

The entire tournament was streamed on the acr_pkr Twitch channel, with commentary provided by two participants from the site’s team: Svitlana “svetarik” Dryha and Katie Lindsay herself.

Both of them — like the room’s other female ambassadors and streamers — were eliminated from the tournament long before reaching the money, yet they continued streaming the action, offering lively, joyful and heartfelt commentary while discussing specific hands and, in particular, the play of the finalists.

On the tournament’s final hand, the girls actually screamed when the showdown took place, wrapping up the stream on a high, positive note.

pinklily28 ultimately won the first women-only tournament on ACR Poker, taking home $5,625 in prize money.

The success of this championship gives hope that it will be held again in the future — perhaps with a larger number of satellites and related giveaways, so that even more women can enjoy such a wonderful time.
