From $1 to a $12,400 WPT World Championship Package: Your Personal Satellite Guide

From $1 to a $12,400 WPT World Championship Package: Your Personal Satellite Guide

There’s moments in poker when the cards don’t matter. When you’re not sweating a river or second-guessing a shove. It’s the moment when you realize you’re actually going to Las Vegas, not to watch, but to play in one of the biggest tournaments on the planet. That moment might now cost you exactly $1.

WPT Global has opened another door to the WPT World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas with a satellite ladder that could take, well just about anyone to the podium in Sin City.

PokerListings is here to tell you about their $12,400 WPT World Championship Package.

The $12,400 Package: What You Get

At the top of the satellite ladder we mentioned is a $12,400 WPT World Championship package, awarded every Sunday from September 21 to November 30.

These packages include:

  • $10,400 entry into the 2025 WPT World Championship (Day 1A, December 13)
  • $2,000 travel stipend, paid directly into your WPT Global account
  • Access to the VIP Lounge and Players’ Party
  • WPT Global x WPT Championship merch box
  • Preferential room rate at Wynn Las Vegas
  • And, if the stars align, a $100,000 bonus if you win the Championship after qualifying online

It’s worth noting that the Golden Ticket bonus isn’t just an add-on. It’s (or could be) a serious cash carrot. If you win the whole event, WPT Global tacks on another $100K to your total payout.

And yes, it still applies even if you bust your first bullet and re-enter. As long as your original entry came via satellite, the bonus sticks.

Climb the Ladder for $1

The direct buy-in to Sunday’s $1,060 satellite final is, surprise surprise, $1,060. However, the road to the the final is probably going to begin much earlier for most players, with three feeder routes starting as low as $1.10.

Here’s how these look:

  • Route 1: $1.10 → $11 → $110 → $1,060
  • Route 2: $5 → $55 → $1,060
  • Route 3: $22 → $220 → $1,060

You can enter at any stage along the way, depending on your comfort level and bankroll. But those starting from the very bottom will be playing for the poker equivalent of a golden ticket–minus the chocolate factory, plus a possible seven-figure payday.

Feeder satellites start September 20, with Sunday finals running weekly through November 30. There’s no cap on the number of packages you can win, but if you do win more than one, your first ticket must be used on Day 1A (Dec 13).

Vegas Is Calling (But Only If You Qualify)

As you (should) know, the WPT World Championship returns to Wynn Las Vegas from December 13–21, 2025, and if recent history is anything to go by, the prize pool could cross the $40 million mark.

WPT World Championship 2025

Last year’s champion, Scott Stewart, walked away with over $2.5 million after topping a 2,391-player field. This year, someone might do the same after starting with a $1 satellite.

We’ll just have to wait and see and in the meantime, check out other ways to qualify for the WPT World Championship here. Or if you can’t wait to see what’s in store for Vegas, check out the  Complete 2025 WPT World Championship Festival Schedule
