A Look At The Microstakes Action This Weekend

A Look At The Microstakes Action This Weekend

For the microstakes online grinders out there, there is plenty for you to register over the course of this coming weekend across a range of sites. Today, JackPoker, ACR, and CoinPoker will be in the picture. Here is a look at the selection.

JackPoker

JackPoker has just commenced its “Low in the Snow Series”, a series of tournaments ranging from $3-$30, meaning there is something for everyone across the microstakes spectrum. The series started yesterday, and there are over 30 tournaments on offer, all of which are PKOs. In each tournament, a player is designated as a bounty player, meaning they have a higher bounty on their head.

$15 Low In The Snow PKO Series $10,000 GTD

In the $15 Low In The Snow PKO Series Event 86, there will be a bounty of $45 on the head of one player, and the rest will start with a bounty of $3.75. The tournament is a freezeout, which is apt considering the snowy theme, and blinds last for 7 minutes apiece. The tournament has a set guarantee of $10,000, but this poker writer imagines that this will be exceeded as players take to the virtual felts in pursuit of bounties. The tournament starts at 1 p.m. GMT, and late registration will be open for 1 hour and 30 minutes.

To keep things simple, JackPoker has standardized the structures of each tournament, so the $3 tournament has the same structure as the $30 tournament in the same series. They will be worth registering for as JackPoker is still an up-and-coming player in the online poker scene, and that is reflected in generally smaller field sizes than what would be seen on places like GGPoker or PokerStars.

ACR

A strong selection of tournaments is available on ACR over the course of this weekend for microstakes players, all of which are worth a shot if the site operates in your country and your bankroll permits. To make things even sweeter, PokerListings readers and players can qualify for a $25 bonus in tournament tickets if they’re new players and deposit $25 or more.
