Cryptocurrency cashback provider StormX teamed up with PokerGO for its first StormX Invitational Poker Tournament with cards in the air on March 3 at 3 p.m. PT at the PokerGO Studio at the ARIA Resort & Casino in Las Vegas.
The event will feature 81 of the biggest names in poker, celebrities, cryptocurrency entrepreneurs, and investors including the likes of Phil Hellmuth, Maria Ho, Tom Dwan, and StormX Co-Founder and CEO Simon Yu.
The tournament will also feature some notable figures from the sports world including former NBA superstar Paul Pierce, current NBA star Michael Carter-Williams, NASCAR driver Landon Cassill, and Official UFC Octogon Announcer Bruce Buffer.
The tournament will feature a $5,000 buy-in with one re-entry permitted and is expected to generate at least a $500,000 prize pool. Fans can follow along in what promises to be one of the most entertaining events of the year for free at YouTube.
StormX is offering sponsorship opportunities for the event and will also donate a portion of the proceeds from the event to various charities in the Miami area that specialize in increasing financial and cryptocurrency literacy.
Guess the Winner for a Chance at $500!
Poker fans will not only be entertained watching some of poker’s biggest talent pitting up against a more recreational field. StormX decided to make things even more interesting by giving away $500 to one lucky StormX Twitter follower that guesses the winner of the inaugural StormX Invitational Poker Tournament.
If multiple people follow the rules and select the winner of the event, a RNG will determine who walks away with the $500 prize directly into their StormX account.
While selecting the winner is ideal, participants still have a chance to win something with StormX will be randomly awarding $100 at StormX to five other participants.
