The World Poker Tour continued its expansion throughout Europe Monday with the announcement the tour is headed to France’s Casino D’Amneville this October and November.

The WPT Amneville 2010 tournament series kicks off Oct. 30 at Casino Municipal D'Amneville in North Eastern France with land-based qualifiers and side events, followed by the €3200+€300 WPT main event Nov. 2-6.

"The Casino d'Amneville is located at the perfect crossroad for European players, with close proximity to Luxembourg, Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands," said Casino Municipal D'Amneville general manager Christophe Schanne.

"We are delighted to welcome the World Poker Tour to Amneville for this unique French tournament."

Players can win their way into the WPT main event though a variety of qualifier tournaments, including satellites at Aviation Club de France in Paris and the Grand Casino Basel in Switzerland.

Super-satellites will also be held at Casino D'Amneville beginning Oct. 29.

In addition to the lion's share of the prize pool, the winner of the WPT Amneville 2010 main event will receive a bracelet and a $25,500 seat in the WPT World Championship at Bellagio in April 2011.

Amneville is a unique city in North Eastern France with the world largest indoor ski slope and a variety of local entertainment options.

The casino itself has 400 slot machines, a poker room, English roulette tables, a French roulette table, Blackjack and more.
