Turn $1 into WSOP seat at PartyPoker
By Sarah Polson
It's never to early to start plotting a way to make it to the World Series of Poker Main Event in Las Vegas. Or so it seems, at least, as PartyPoker already has online qualifiers in full swing for players to win their seats in the event.
For as little as $1, players at PartyPoker can work their way up through the qualifiers to win prize packages to the Main Event in July. Those packages include the $10,000 buy-in, accommodation in Las Vegas, $1,000 in spending money and access to the exclusive VIP hospitality suite.
"The qualifiers are already popular as they offer the chance to be one of the first to win a seat for the WSOP," said a PartyPoker spokesman. "If you qualify now, you can sit back in the comfort [of knowing] you are off to Vegas and exploit the cheaper flight options."
For just $1, players can enter into daily WSOP Satellite Sub Qualifier Speed re-buy multi-table tournaments. For every $64 in the prize pool there will be one entry into the daily WSOP Friday Satellite Qualifier.
There are also daily $3 WSOP Satellite Sub Qualifiers re-buy multi-table tournaments that also dish out an entry into the daily WSOP Friday Satellite Qualifier for every $64 in the prize pool.
If MTTs aren't necessarily your best game, there are also $2 and $14 single-table tournaments running 24/7 that will get players into the daily WSOP Friday Satellite Qualifier.
The buy-in for the daily qualifier is $64, and for every 10 entrants, one seat in the Weekly WSOP Satellite will be given out. The daily qualifier plays each day at 3:40 p.m. (EST).
The Weekly WSOP Satellite plays each Friday at 6 p.m. (EST). It has a $550+$30 buy-in and awards an $11,000 prize package for every 20 players who enter. PartyPoker is also guaranteeing at least two packages each week.
