Purple Lounge Poker picking up the pace in July

If you're looking for some online action in July, Purple Lounge Poker has got plenty to choose from this month.

To begin with there is the July Mad Dash for Cash, that will reward the top 50 players at the poker site at the end of the month.

The dash began on July 1 and will continue until July 31 at 11:59 p.m. During that time, Purple Lounge Poker will keep track of the top rakers for the month.

The player with the most raked hands will win $9,000, with a total of $40,000 up for grabs for the top 50 players.

Purple Lounge Poker's weekly satellites for the European Poker tour Barcelona event this month as well, with the first one kicking off Saturday at 3 p.m. (EDT). For $140+$10, these satellites will get players into the Grand Final where they can win a $14,000 prize package for the EPT event.

The prize packages include the buy-in for the main event.

The Grand Final will take place Aug. 12, and the EPT Barcelona event will be Aug. 28-Sept. 1.

Also through July will be Purple Lounge Poker's Battle of the Sexes with tournaments taking place Tuesdays and Saturdays through the month. They cost $3+30¢ to enter.

Finalists from the Battle will be flown to London for a live final that will determine whether men or women are the better poker players.
