Event Description

It's all over but the crying from 2008 WPT Borgata Poker Classic. It took five-days and 506 eliminations but we finally have our winner. None other than Gavin Griffin took down first place for $1.4 million and a sweet Harley-Davidson to ride off into the sunset. Griffin becomes the first player in history to hold titles at the WSOP, WPT and EPT. It wasn't easy for Griffin, he had to get by the tenacious David Tran in heads-up play, but in the end there could be no better end to the competition. Congratulations to Griffin and all the players that took part in the 2008 WPT Borgata Poker Classic.
