Sykora Wins 38th Banco Masters, Tana Delle Tigri off to a Good Start
The Banco Masters Edition #38 crowned its winner, Cristian Sykora. The Austrian player defeated a field of 1,388 entries to add a significant amount of €36,370 to his bankroll. A massive result, coming in 2nd in chips at the final day of the event, where the final table consisted out of eight different nationalities!
The Banco Masters, a product of Bratislava’s Banco Casino, was just down to its 38th edition. During the opening flight, there was the question of whether they would reach the guaranteed prize pool of €250,000.
Artur Meburnutov from Ukraine went into the final day as the commanding chip leader, but after a couple of unlucky feats, he ended up finishing in 4th place. In the end, that ended up being the only surprise of the final day, before the battle for the title of the Banco Masters Main Event Champion took place.

Tanna Delle Tigri (April 18-28)
Banco Casino is a factory on its own when it comes to live poker events. Where one event is ending, the next one is already popping up! This time the Tanna Delle Tigri event is being hosted by Banco Casino, along with a massive guaranteed prize pool of €400,000 across all the events, with €250,000 being reserved for the €250 Main Event.
One of the first events was the TdT Warm Up event with a prize pool of €50,000. The guarantee had not been reached, meaning that €13,000 had to be put in by Banco Casino themselves. The event would end after three player made the final deal. Mladen Stonjanovic, Radoslav Hrino, and Aleksander Petrovic all received a bit over €6,000 for their efforts.
Main Event Tana Delle Tigri (€250,000 GTD)
As from tomorrow, the Main Event will kick off. As per usual at Banco Casino, there are plenty of opening flights (8) where players can try to build up a reasonable stack for Day 2, being played on Saturday 27th of April. The jury is still out when it comes to reaching the guarantee or not, so if you are around Bratislava in the coming week; Banco Casino is the place you would want to be!
