The first two weeks of OSS XL didn’t go easy on him, but he didn’t give up, doing what he does best: grinding. Fortunately for him, he was finally rewarded for his love of online poker. 

During this time, Moorman won three tournaments subsequently:

As a bonus, Moorman also snagged a top bounty of $55,536 in the $1,050 OSSXL $243 Mystery Bounty – $200,000 GTD, adding it to a $1,062 prize for his 14th place finish.

What makes Moorman an even more remarkable person is that, after that, he continued playing as if nothing had happened, prioritizing consistency and discipline over the desire to celebrate the big score — and that undoubtedly commands respect!

The two weeks of the OSS XL did not go particularly well for girafganger7. No matter how hard he tried or how many bullets he fired, he rarely managed to reach the money, and even when he did get lucky enough to cash, he only walked away with significant sums a couple of times, including taking $14,933 for the 6th place in the $630 OSS #76 – $300,000 GTD High Roller.

But Lady Luck finally decided to smile upon him — and, midway through the final week, let him win not one but two titles:

Alex “OutFoxenYou” Foxen

Alex Foxen found himself in a similar situation; he played his fair share of OSS XL tournaments for two weeks without securing any particularly massive prizes — until fate decided to reward his persistence in one of the most expensive events on the series main schedule.

OutFoxenYou won a title and sweet $133,036 in the $2,650 OSS XL #240H – $400,000 GTD Super High Roller, spending only three bullets for that.

As if that weren’t enough, the day after that victory, Foxen decided to tackle an even higher-stakes tournament; he finished as the runner-up in one of the series’ special events — the OSS XL Phil’s Nosebleeds $5K PLO R/A 6-Max — turning an undisclosed number of rebuys into $81,900.

Thus, Foxen once again demonstrated that he is capable of performing well not only in Hold’em tournaments but has also mastered Omaha!
