Uruguay in December or Ireland in January - those are just two of the many choices PartyPoker has to offer its players. The poker site is now hosting qualifiers for both the Irish Poker Championship and the Latin American Poker Grand Final.

PartyPoker announced Thursday that online qualifications for the Irish Poker Championship were under way, with options for players to win their way to the event for as little as $3.

The main online satellite runs every Tuesday for $270 to buy-in. For every 25 players in the main satellite, PartyPoker will provide one seat to the Irish Poker Championship in January.

The championship will take place at the Radisson Hotel & Spa in Galway, Ireland, Jan. 3-6. The €2,000 buy-in event is expected to bring in about 400 players from across Ireland, the United Kingdom, Europe and the United States.

Some of the players already expected to attend include Mike Sexton, Ciaran O'Leary, Michael Keiner, Padraig Parkinson, Bruno Fitoussi, Noel Furlong and Jan Sorensen. Furlong was actually coaxed out of retirement to take part in the event.

"We are delighted that the tournament organizers have secured Noel Furlong's participation," said a PartyPoker spokesman.

"Imagine winning the WSOP Main Event, vanishing into thin air and retiring from the game, exactly what Noel did! We expect him to run well in the tournament as getting a read on him is likely to be very hard. There will be very little television coverage that gives pointers to how he plays."

PartyPoker is also hosting freerolls and online qualifiers to send players to the Latin American Poker Grand Final taking place at the Conrad Resort and Casino in Punta Del Este, Uruguay.

The freerolls and qualifiers into the main satellites run daily and the final main satellites are taking place Nov. 11 and Nov. 25.

There are at least two $7,500 prize packages that will be given out, sending the winners to the Latin American Poker Grand Final, a re-buy tournament that caps off the Conrad Poker Tour.

The prize packages include the $2,500 buy-in, five nights' accommodation and $1,250 spending money. There is also an extra $2,500 for spending money or to use as a re-buy for the event.

"This trip promises to be a once-in-a-lifetime experience," said a PartyPoker spokesman. "Not only will qualifiers get to test themselves against the cream of the Latin American poker world for the chance to win some big money, they also get to do it in one of the best casino venues on the scene."
