Yet another patch is going to be featured prominently at the 2014 World Series of Poker Main Event final table.
Euro poker site Betsafe has officially signed November Niner Felix Stephensen to its pro roster.
The move comes hot off the news that 888poker will be patching up Brazilian Bruno Politano for the final table.
Stephensen Could Become First Norwegian World Champ
It’s a big signing considering Stephensen is the first November Niner from Norway (although he currently lives in London) and will enter the final table second in chips with 32 million. He trails only Jorryt van Hoof who amassed 38 million.
Prior to 2014 Stephensen was primarily an online cash game player and only has three live cashes to his name.
Stephensen also has a chance to break up the current streak of American winners and become the first European World Champion since Pius Heinz in 2011.
First place in this year’s WSOP Main Event will walk away with $10 million while everybody at the final table is guaranteed at least $730,000.
Stephensen was perhaps most well-known for the signature San Diego Chargers hat that he sported for the entire Main Event this summer.
