PokerStars Power Path Proving To Be a Golden Ticket

PokerStars Power Path Proving To Be a Golden Ticket

If you are a regular on the famous Red Spade online site, you will have noticed a new introduction over the past few months called Power Path. Whether you saw the section in the client or happened to get the tickets in your Stars Chest, you might be curious to see how the new innovation is fairing.

It is absolutely fair to call this new PokerStars creation a satellite sensation, giving away 349 Silver Passes and 10 Gold Passes so far, which shows fervor and excitement from players to play Power Path but also continues PokerStars’ tradition of creating incredible stories. Ever since Chris Moneymaker qualified through a PokerStars satellite to win $2.5 million at the 2003 World Series of Poker Main Event, PokerStars has become synonymous with making poker dreams a reality.

What is Happening With Power Path This August?

August is going to be a jam-packed poker month, with plenty of opportunities for players to use the Power Path and get into the biggest online and live poker tournaments around. What’s the marquee event? It is, of course, the World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP), which is the pinnacle of online poker every year.

Thanks to the PokerStars Power Path introduction, players can actually win a special WCOOP ticket bundle. Players can win three bundles, which include a chance at getting a seat in the mammoth $10,300 WCOOP Main Event. Here’s a breakdown of the bundles:

  • WCOOP Ticket Bundle 1 (Gold): This includes tickets going from $0.55 to a huge $5,200.
  • WCOOP Ticket Bundle 2 (Silver): A solid selection of tickets from $22 to $530.
  • WCOOP Main Events Ticket Bundle (Silver): Focuses on the Main Event with tickets priced at $22, $109, and $1,050.

That’s not all! Before we buckle up our bankrolls for WCOOP, we have the mind-boggling Midstakes Madness, where players can enter cheap tournaments and have the chance of winning a grand sum. Bronze Pass holders can use their Power Path for the $109 Main Event, while Silver Pass holders have a selection of over 45 events to choose from.

EPT Barcelona is Just Around the Corner!

EPT Barcelona has always been a fan favorite on the European Poker Tour schedule, and now it is rolling around quickly. Gold Pass holders have some incredible options to pick from for this event, which goes beyond the poker felt. You can choose various poker events to enter as well as the exclusive side activities that run for satellite winners, something PokerStars do exceptionally well.

Silver Pass holders are not left out either; you can redeem these for the famous Estrellas Barcelona Main Event, which always gets a huge turnout and a boosted prize pool to match. Last year, Rick van Bruggen battled for over four days and through more than 6,000 entrants to turn his €1,100 buy-in into a €600,000 grand prize. Thanks to Power Path, this year it could be you!

Even More PokerStars Live Events To Power Path to Come!

The Power Path goes beyond the major live PokerStars events, as it provides a gateway into the lesser-known series too. This month, players can aim to qualify for events like UKIPT Brighton, Eureka Hamburg, LAPT Pananama, and so many more, all through a Silver Pass. I would recommend checking the PokerStars client to see which events are eligible and which poker tournaments you can use a Power Path for.
