PokerListings Operator Awards: Player Favorite

Which poker room has the most fans and dedicated players as of this year?

This time, it's our PokerListings players who will take center stage and vote for their favorite poker operator. The card room which, for whatever reason PokerListings players choose, deserves to be celebrated.

If you have not yet voted in our Facebook poll, go for it!

Your votes will decide the winner of the Player Favorite category of the PokerListings Operator Awards. But best of all, you’ll be in the running for one of FOUR $50 poker credits on the winning poker site.

Nominees for Players' Favorite Poker Room

GGPoker

GGPoker became a major frontrunner in 2020, seemingly out of nowhere. We could attribute this to the big-name ambassadors they brought in. Starting from Daniel Negreanu to Bryn Kenney, ElkY and Fedor Holz. However, GGPoker has more than earned their popularity because of how player-focused their software is. Including a no-external-HUDs policy and unique Staking platform for you to buy pieces of your fav players. Their record-breaking WSOP cemented their high position this year.

PokerStars

For the longest time, online poker was synonymous with PokerStars. So this is a long-time, world-renowned brand - and one of the absolute leaders in the industry. The sheer amount of customization and app reliability on any device says enough about their commitment. Yet PokerStars also has an unmatched game variety. You can find any game or variant round the clock - including 7-Card Stud & Razz. And with the poker room’s vast reach, traffic is solid and there's always a game going.

Partypoker

partypoker VIP club

Partypoker was surely one of the earlier poker rooms to revolutionize poker and has been around for a long time. After multiple reboots, it remains one of the most popular choices for beginners and grinders alike. Loyal customers could once again benefit from a pretty lucrative rakeback program this year - which is hard to find anywhere else. Plus, more poker promos than most. You’ll find nothing but smooth sessions on their platform, aided by all the essential, and entertaining features.

888poker

888poker (formerly Pacific Poker) has been around since 2002 and has stood the test of time. Remaining in the top 10 poker rooms year after year. This perhaps thanks to major rebranding and continuous updates, such as their latest mobile software revamp. 888’s affiliation and sponsorship of WSOP as well as major tours makes it known to loads of players. This exposure, as well as reliable consistency, makes 888poker a major contender for the Player Favorite 2020 winner.

Unibet

We’ve seen Unibet on the upswing, increasing their focus on recreational players. At Unibet, you can find fun games with a huge amount of value for new players. Front and center of this software is the ability to change your identity 3 times per day to ward off experts who track and exploit softer players. Combine this with the extra gamification from Missions and Achievements, addition of Private games to play with friends - then it’s no surprise to see Unibet nominated here this year.

Tiger Gaming

Founded in 1999, it’s safe to say Tiger Gaming Poker is one of the longest-standing poker rooms still active today. Yet Tiger Gaming deserves a special shoutout on this list, because it has stood the test of time. Even though it hasn’t been established in the mainstream poker world like some of the bigger sites. Tiger Gaming has offered some of the biggest player promos this year. We’re talking much bigger welcome bonuses and offers, freerolls, loyalty rewards and bad beat jackpots than many bigger sites.

William Hill

William Hill VIP Club

There’s a lot of extra value to be found at William Hill Poker - currently on the iPoker network. Including gamified Missions and Twister Races promos that give back to frequent players. The Players Club is yet another reason why we’re nominating William Hill since players are benefitting from free tickets and cashback. You also have the option of playing without downloading the app - which is not always available elsewhere. All in all, a player-focused platform that deserves a spot on this list.

How the Awards Process Works

The PokerListings editorial team has worked in the online poker business for decades and here we’re presenting the PokerListings Operator Awards - casting a spotlight on the most deserving in the business.

1. Nominations

Throughout the month of November, our PokerListings experts present the shortlisted nominees in 8 different categories: Best for Beginners, Best for Grinders, Best Online Series, Best Software, Most Improved, Innovation of the Year, Poker Operator of the Year, and finally the PokerListings Players' Favorite.

2. Voting

During this Nomination period in November all PokerListings players can vote for our 8th category: Your favorite poker operator of them all. You will find a wider selection of nominees than the other award categories for a better choice. And you can cast your vote (one per person) on our Facebook channel. We'll provide the results of the poll above here on this page.

3. Winners

After a long deliberation throughout this month, we will announce the winners on all our channels at the start of December (official date TBA). Our winners will also be contacted and provided with their badge of honor as this year's winners.
