This PokerListings article will tell you everything you need to know, including what’s in the fine print.
A few days ago, we talked about California passing s bill that banned sweepstakes poker across the board. Now, with the law set to kick in on January 1, 2026, most operators are already planning their exits from the Gold Cost.
Curiously, ClubWPT Gold isn’t among them. Just the opposite, it’s signaling that it’s not going anywhere and doesn’t think it has to.
This week we’re running PokerListings freerolls in the rooms you’re already familiar with — 888Poker, WPT Global, Coinpoker, and JackPoker. Depending on your location, you can take part in different tournaments.
The main participation rules remain the same: follow our website and social media to get the password for tournament access.
We’re working to add more tournaments for players registered through our links. For instance, the Coinpoker and 888Poker IT tournaments currently run without a password — only PokerListings-registered players can join. Tomasz Berzezinski has been on a heater throughout 2025, and that heat has reached new levels after winning the 2025 EPT Malta Main Event for €631,632, after striking a deal with his heads-up opponent, Mykhailo Ostash. With his victory, Berzezinski joins an elusive club of 11 players to make back-to-back final tables in the Main Event at consecutive EPT stops. What makes the victory even more special for Berzezinski is that the victory came on effectively home soil, as the 37-year-old Polish national has been based in Malta for the last ten years. Let’s have a look at the action that unfolded, and one of the most dramatic and back-and-forth heads-up battles seen at an EPT Main Event final table in a long while.
On October 11th, 2025 the Governor of the most populous U.S. state Gavin Newsom signed assembly Bill AB 831 into law. This particular bill puts an end to work of any sweepstakes poker operator in California from January 1st, 2026.
Freerolls don’t usually come with six-figure guarantees, but GGPoker is making an exception this time. Starting in just a couple of days, October 18, players will have a shot at a share of $100,000 every single week with no buy-in required. The new promotion, simply called the Weekly $100K Freeroll, builds on GGPoker’s existing freeroll structure and adds a few new ways for players to qualify throughout the week.
It’s not a one-off event either. The $100K freeroll is designed as a permanent weekly fixture and there are multiple ways to earn your seat.
So, in this article, we’re going to break it all down for you.

- StatName tracks net profit at cash tables. Rakeback, leaderboard rewards, and promotional bonuses are not included in the statistics.
- StatName only tracks results at regular cash tables (fast-fold tables are excluded).
- StatName data may differ slightly from your HUD due to import inaccuracies, but the sample sizes remain representative and give a reliable picture of player performance.

The World Series of Poker Europe (WSOPE) is moving. Luckily, it’s not going that far. After eight years tucked away on the Czech–German border, the WSOP festival is heading into the capital.
The WSOP Europe will find its way to the Hilton Prague (in partnership with King’s Casino Prague) from March 31 to April 12, 2026. If you look closely at the dates, you’ll also notice a seasonal change, as 2026 will mark the first spring edition in the series’ history.
You’ll find everything we know so far right here, so let’s unpack it.

It’s around that time of the year when Halloween themes keep popping up, so it’s no surprise that JackPoker has a new promotion underway. Just yesterday, October 6th, the platform kicked off its Full House of Horrors series, with $4 million in guaranteed prizes.
The series will run all the way through to November 2, with 162 Progressive Knockout tournaments, a $1 million leaderboard, and a few spooky extras for good measure. You’ll want to keep an eye out for jacks but we’ll get to that part below.
