Biography
Born in Thessaloniki, Greece, Theologis began playing poker around 2013, due to an interest in strategy games like chess. In an interview with bbzpoker.com, a site which Theologis now works for as a coach, said:
“One day some of my friends decided to set up a home poker game and I had no idea what it was at the time. They obviously invited me over to play as I didn’t know the rules, but after they explained the rules I found it very interesting. So, my love of strategy games combined with the financial aspect of being able to earn money while playing, that’s what really drove me to the game.”
During his formative years at university, Theologis worked as a DJ whilst grinding the microstakes online. His first live recorded cash came back in 2017, on March 9th, entering the €330 No Limit Hold’em WARM UP event at the Balkan Poker Festival in Gevgelija, North Macedonia. He showcased his skills by secured an impressive 4th place, earning $6,630.
Poker Career
Theologis began with humble beginnings to his poker journey, but in 2019, he won the $2,000 No Limit Hold’em event at the World Poker Tour ARIA Summer Championship in Las Vegas, United States, claiming the 1st place prize of $30,062, his second six figure score. The first of which, came at EPT Prague in the $5,300 Main Event, where he cashed for €10,980. Having grinded online for most of his career, and still does to this date, Theologis’s first major breakthrough came in the virtual streets, where he remains one of the most feared players in the world. Theologis binked a score of $1,212,033 in the WSOP $25,000 Super High Roller Championship Online, which remains his biggest single score to date.
Coaching
Having built his reputation as one of the best players in the online world, it was only a matter of time before Theologis got into the coaching realm. He partnered with Runitonce.com, one of the most reputable sites for coaching on the internet, and has joined forces with bbzpoker.com, another reputable source for studying and analysing your game. Both sites host a myriad of seminars and study materials on all aspects of poker, from the early stages of tournaments to bubble play and ICM.

In the same interview with bbzpoker.com, Theologis had this to say about what he enjoys about coaching.
“I generally like explaining things. In real life, I have this thing as well. I like taking part in long discussions and maybe studying a bit and explaining it in a simplified fashion. Another really good thing with coaching is that by presenting a topic I also get to refresh myself. There are so many things in poker you need to remember — sizings, frequencies, whatever it may be — so by coaching these topics I get to remind myself of them too.”
