Daniel Pidun

Daniel Pidun is a German poker player who has accumulated over $3,000,000 in earnings throughout his career, a great achievement considering he only has 12 life time cashes. A recreational player who plays once a year, Pidun has taken down some big titles despite his lack of playing time, evidenced by the German’s latest success, winning the 10,300 WSOPE Main Event 2025 Rozvadov for €1,140,000, topping a 654 field in the process and adding a first gold bracelet to his trophy cabinet.

Biography

As mentioned earlier, Pidun is a recreational player, but one with a decent bankroll, as evidenced by the buy-ins he chooses to play. For work, Pidun and his brother, Thomer, focus the majority of their time on their mobile phone parts company. His brother is also a bracelet winner, having won the €2,000 Eight-Game Mix in 2022 for the families first bracelet. The Pidun’s now join distinguished company, such as the Mizrachi’s, in terms of brothers winning bracelets, and are the seventh pair of brothers to both win a bracelet. His first cash came back in 2009 in a €200 No Limit Hold’em tournament in Germany, where Pidun banked €5,133. Whether he caught the poker bug on that day, or beforehand, only he and his friends and family know. Two years later, he final tabled the €5,300 Main Event at EPT Berlin, a year after the infamous attempted heist that took place at the same venue. Pidun cashed for 45,000 that day, but he was not done with the Main Event in Berlin just yet. He finished 17th the following year, another deep run, but the following year, he made it all. Pidun won the 2013 EPT Berlin Main Event for €880,000, and this stood as his best career score until very recently. He cashed twice in 2014, before taking a break or failing to cash until 2017, where he finished 20th in the €111,111 High Roller for One Drop for €157,652.
