Happy Hours Jackpot Gives Back to Unlucky Hands on JackPoker

Even the best poker hands go south It stings but for a few weeks this October, JackPoker decided to soften the blow.

Their latest promotion, called Happy Hours Jackpot, gives a small silver lining to players who lose with a set in No-Limit Hold’em. And unlike most bad-beat promos, this one doesn’t require an outrageous setup or six people at the table. It just has to happen during the right window.

This PokerListings article will tell you everything you need to know, including what’s in the fine print.

How the Happy Hours Jackpot Works (and When)

The Happy Hours Jackpot is exactly what it says it is. It’s nightly happy hours at JackPoker from 20:00 to 00:00 (UTC) every night from October 6 to October 26. In this four-hour window, any player who loses a hand with a set made from pocket cards (like two deuces making 222) is eligible for a bonus. The reward?

Twenty big blinds, based on the limit of the table where the hand was played.

There’s no complicated opt-in and no limit to which NL Hold’em cash tables are included. The promotion is live site-wide.

The total available payout across the entire promotion is capped at $4,000, meaning that the earlier in the window you hit that set-gone-wrong, the better.

What The Fine Print Says About the Bonus

The first thing you should know is that these aren’t funds you can immediately cash out. If you get them, they go into a locked bonus balance, which is released gradually through rake-based wagering.

It’s also worth noting that trying to cash out before meeting the wagering requirements could void the remainder of the bonus. All in all, this is pretty standard fine print, but still important that you know.
