WSOPE Rise Up Could Put Eliminated Players Back in the Main Event

The 2026 WSOP Europe is less than a month away. So is the Easter holiday. Apparently, this overlap didn’t go unnoticed by the World Series of Poker, as they’ve decided to add an Easter-inspired promotion, aptly titled the Rise Up promotion to the European leg of their tour. Here is what you should know about it.

Rise Up in WSOP Europe

The Rise Up promotion is tied to the 2026 WSOP-E Main Event, which carries a  €10,000,000 guaranteed. In simple terms, this promotion is the WSOPE giving its players another shot at the €5,300 Main Event in case they get eliminated early on.

In practice, this means that Rise Up will be active during every Day 1 flight of the tournament, and Day 2 before the end of late registration. Here are those flights and dates at a glance:

FlightDate and Time
Flight AFriday, April 3 at 12 PM
Flight BSaturday, April 4 at 12 PM
Flight CSunday, April 5 at 12 PM
Day 2Monday, April 6 at 12 PM

So, what happens once the Main Event and this Rise Up promotion are under way?

That’s when the hunt for the golden eggs begins. During the tournament, there will be a pool filled with potentially magical eggs set up near the poker floor. Once a player gets eliminated from the Main Event (during a Day 1 flight or early in Day 2) and decides they want to re-enter, they’re shown to the pool. That’s where they get to choose their egg, which could containing a €5,300 cash prize.

At the start of each Day 1 flight, the tournament will place 10 Golden Eggs, each containing a €5,300 cash prize into the pool. If you pick correctly, you could use that €5,300 cash prize to re-enter the WSOPE Main Event and well, rise up, literally.

Although, we always advise going right to the source, in this case the WSOP website, here are a few rule-related specifics to note:

  • Only players who have been eliminated and choose to re-enter before late registration closes can take part in the promotion and pick an egg.
  • The 30 Golden Eggs are non-transferable and must be used for the same flight in which the Golden Egg is drawn.
  • Any unclaimed Golden Eggs carry over to the remaining Day 1 flights and then to Day 2.
  • There is no limit to how many Golden Eggs one player can pull.

You can find all the Rise Up terms and conditions directly on the organizers website but in the meantime, we suggest checking out what changes are coming with the 2026 WSOPE edition!
