WSOP Paradise Is Back With Record-Braking $60M GTD Super Main Event

WSOP Paradise Is Back With Record-Braking $60M GTD Super Main Event

WSOP Paradise is once again returning to Atlantis Paradise Island in the Bahamas. The series will take place from December 4 to 18 in partnership with Triton and GGPoker. And the biggest news? At least one new record will be set.

$25K WSOP Paradise Super Main Event will be the largest tournament in poker history

WSOP Paradise will be held for the third time.

In 2023, Stanislav Zegal won the $5K Main Event WSOP Paradise $15M GTD and received $2M. The tournament attracted 3,010 entries. By the way, Zegal qualified for this tournament through an online satellite — you will also have a chance to repeat his success, but more on that later.

In 2024, WSOP Paradise hosted the $25K Super Main Event $50M GTD for the first time. 24-year old Yinan Zhou took the win. In addition to the bracelet, he received $6M. The tournament drew 1,978 entries, with an overlay of $550K.

In 2025, the $25K Super Main Event returns with a $60M guarantee — this will be the largest guarantee ever offered in a single poker tournament.

“They called us crazy last year for launching the Super Main Event with the biggest live tournament guarantee ever, so consider this a re-raise,” said Ty Stewart, Chief Executive Officer of WSOP. “WSOP Paradise is here to stay, and we’re making poker history once again, with the $60,000,000 guarantee and some new signature events. The expanded partnership with Triton, alongside the new Super Mystery Bounty kickoff event, headlines what is a can’t-miss winter festival.”

What’s more exciting? You can qualify for this tournament as early as this week. On Sunday, July 13 at 18:30 GMT, the first satellite with a $2,500 buy-in and a guaranteed $30K package will kick off on GGPoker!

WSOP Paradise Highlights

The full schedule of the series has not yet been published. But several events are already known:

  • December 4 — the series opens with Event #1: $2,5K WSOP Circuit Championship Mystery Bounty. You can enter this event for free. Winners of all WSOP Circuit ring events from July 1 to December 2 will receive an exclusive $5K package, which includes a buy-in to this event.
  • December 5 — kicks off Event #3: $100K Triton PLO Main Event. The Omaha boom isn’t slowing down. In May 2025, the $100K Triton PLO Main Event set a record with 93 entries, and the winner, Ben Tollerene, received $2,390,000 — the largest prize in an Omaha tournament of all time. But already in July at the WSOP, the $100K PLO High Roller set a new record with 121 entries. The winner, Shaun Deeb, received $2,957,229. Will a new record be set in the $100K PLO? We’ll find out in December.
  • December 7 — kicks off Event #5: $250K Triton Invitational. One of the most spectacular and intriguing tournaments, where on Day 1 VIP players and the poker pros they invited will compete in separate pools. By the way, in May 2025, this tournament set a new record, attracting 96 unique players and 132 re-entries.
  • December 9 — Event #9: $100K Triton NLHE Main Event. Another tournament that gathers the best of the best. Will we see Mikalai Vaskaboinikau in the Triton Main Event heads-up for the third time? Should we expect the return of Vladimir “Gambledore” Korzinin (by the way, last year he skipped WSOP Paradise)?
  • December 15 — Event #14: $25K GGMillion$, $10M GTD. GGPoker’s flagship weekly high roller tournament returns to the live scene. Maybe the win will go to this tournament’s record-holder Artur Martirosian, who has claimed 10 GGMillion$ titles?

Mark your calendars: from December 4 to 18, 2025, WSOP Paradise at Atlantis Paradise Island in the Bahamas. Satellites, as always, on GGPoker.
