Who Advances To The Semifinals Of CoinPoker Cash Game World Championship
Table of Contents
The group stage of the CoinPoker Cash Game World Championship starts on April 6 and runs through April 19. Within it, each player in a group must play between 1,250 and 1,875 hands against every other player. Here is how things stand in the different groups at the moment.
CoinPoker Cash Game World Championship NLHE: KraciFisk & SeaLlama absolutely crushing it

Information is up to date as of April 15, 22:00 UTC
Unfortunately, the lobby does not indicate the number of hands opponents have already played against each other. But there is a crown next to some avatars. Presumably, this means that the players have completed the full distance against each other.
In NLHE there are 4 groups with 3 players in each. Only one player from each group advances to the semifinal.
In two groups there are clear favorites.
Group A
- KraciFisk: 157 points
- Linus “LLinusLLove” Loeliger: -39 points
- Mikalai “VASKABOINIKAU” Vaskaboinikau: -68 points
Interestingly, VASKABOINIKAU beat LLinusLLove heads-up (+21 points). The recording is available on YouTube. However, the chances of both players advancing to the semifinal are slim.
Group B
- Dan “CherryBlawesome” Cates: 61 points
- XIAOJUN7777777: 35 points
- Bjorn “asianflushie” Li: -96 points
In this group, asianflushie and CherryBlawesome have not yet played against each other.
Group C
- SeaLlama: 134 points
- FrndsCallMeMark: -64 points
- airfryer: -70 points
SeaLlama beat both of his opponents: +43 vs airfryer & +91 vs FrndsCallMeMark
Group D
- Owen “Pr0digy” Messere: 59 points
- GoinHardInThaPaint: 22 points
- Henri “Clickr” Puustinen: -81 points
This is the most unpredictable group. Last Sunday, GoinHardInThaPaint was leading with 13 points. Pr0digy won 110 points against Clickr and lost 51 points to GoinHardInThaPaint. GoinHardInThaPaint lost 29 points to Clickr.

CoinPoker Cash Game World Championship PLO: tony1993 & venividi1993 lead their groups
In CGWC PLO there are 2 groups with 4 players each, and 2 players from each group advance to the semifinals. The situation is even more unpredictable than in NLHE.
Group A
- tony1993: 102 points
- Yodogoki: 98 points
- LUKAKU: 72 points
- COHIBA: -72 points
As recently as Sunday, tony1993 was at the bottom of the table with -33 points. But he won heads-up against COHIBA (+56) and LUKAKU (+97). However, he lost heads-up to Yodogoki (-51 points). Judging by the fact that a crown has appeared on tony1993’s avatar in the lobby, he advances to the semifinal. But who will be the second player—Yodogoki or LUKAKU—is still unknown.
Group B
- Dirk “venividi1993” Gerrits: 64 points
- DogeCoinMaximaliste: 38 points
- GucciNIKE: -29 points
- MAHASAJAN: -73 points
Judging by the fact that none of the players has a crown on their avatar, the players in Group B have not yet completed the full distance against each other.
In the PLO Championship, the winner will receive $100K, including a Rolex watch. The runner-up will receive $30K.
The heads-up matches can be watched directly inside the client in the CGWC — Matches tab, as well as on YouTube and X (Twitter).
