Top Talents to Return to Tallinn for the Bombay High Stakes Week

An assortment of poker’s elite players are set to take to the tables at the luxurious Bombay Club in the heart of Tallinn next week for the latest installment of the Bombay High Stakes Week

This high-roller event is set to attract the likes of Phil Ivey, Dan “Jungleman” Cates, and, for the home team, reigning €25k Main Event Champion, Ottomar Ladva, who scored €225,600 for his efforts. Another representative of the home contingent that is likely to take to the felt is Markkos Ladev, who shipped last year’s €10K Bombay Invitational for €128,000.

This year’s Main Event will run from August 1st to the 3rd. These entrants to the two-day, €25,000 event will also receive priority when registering for the €10,000 buy-in, €1 Million Guaranteed Bombay Anniversary Invitational.

Participation in this tournament is by invitation only or on a limited basis to those who register early for the €25,000 Main Event. The Invitational will run from the 5th to the 7th and is the second three-day event to take place.

Following the Main Event comes the biggest buy-in of the week, the Bombay Big 50. This €50k buy-in is a two-day event and was not held last year, so a new champion will be crowned in Tallinn this week.

The €10k Fast Bounty is the second and final one-day event that will be held over the week. Armin Rezai bested a field of 18 last year, and it would be no surprise to see him at the tables of the Bombay Club this time around.

To finish off the week is the aptly named High Stakes Week Grand Finale, a €25k buy-in that runs from the 6th to the 7th.
