Three Massive Pots from the Super High Roller Cash Game

Three Massive Pots from the Super High Roller Cash Game

High rollers gathered at the PokerGO Studio to play $500/1000 cash. The game ran for three days, from January 27 to 29. Plenty of massive pots were played, and we picked out the three biggest ones.

$1,053,000 pot: Alan Keating misread his hand (but it wouldn’t have mattered)

When Alan Keating is in the game, fireworks at the table are guaranteed.

In this hand, Keating opened from early position with A 9 and got 3-bet by Sameh Elamawy holding Q Q . Kirk Brown called on the button with A K , and Keating called as well. A three-way pot with $153,500 in the middle.

Flop: 10 6 3 . Sameh bet $125K, Brown folded, and Keating decided to shove. Sameh called for his remaining $325K.

At showdown, Keating admitted that he had misread his hand and thought he had ATs. However, that wouldn’t have saved him anyway. The board was run twice. First runout: 3 2 . Second runout: 7 7 .

$2,441,000 pot: Everyone loves the chop pot!

Another hand with Alan Keating as one of the main characters.

A hand from Day 2. The legendary Antonio Esfandiari posted a $2K straddle and was dealt 9 9 . Alan Keating posted his $4K straddle and picked up 8 7 .

Andrew Robl raised to $20K. Esfandiari 3-bet to $58K. Keating 4-bet to $125K. Robl fold. Esfandiari called.

Flop: 6 8 9 , $273K in the middle.

Keating continued with a $75K bet. After about two minutes of thought, Esfandiari decided to shove for $1.1M. Now it was Keating’s turn to think. It took him roughly four minutes to say call. What happened next is clear from the headline. This is currently the biggest pot of 2026. That said, viewers probably don’t love a chop pot.

$1,716,100 pot: Andrew Robl pulled the trigger at the wrong time

This hand was played in the seventh hour of the third day. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary. Eric Wasserson opened from the button. Andrew Robl 3-bet. Wasserson 4-bet. Robl shoved for a 5-bet. Wasserson snap-called. Everything happened so fast that no one had time to blink. Less than a minute later, $1,716,000 was in the middle of the table. Wasserson showed A A . The board was run twice. American Airlines won both.

As a result, Robl left the game down $1,540,000 on the night. Wasserson was the only player to finish with a seven-figure profit of $1,462,000.
