The Irish Poker Open 2026 Schedule is Here

It’s time to brush up on your mixed games knowledge. Poker schedules for 2026 are pouring in, starting with none other than the Irish Poker Open 2026 . They’re still keeping it classic, as the Irish Open returns to the Royal Dublin Society from March 26 to April 6.

According to the schedule, the 2026 edition features over a dozen days of poker, anchored by three €1M+ events and supported by a deep lineup of satellites, side events, and specialty championships. The schedule also spans more than 80 tournaments, including the returning €2.5 million guaranteed Main Event, a €1M Mystery Bounty, and a €1M Mini Irish Open, each with multiple starting flights and final tables spread across the closing weekend.

In this article, we’re going to see what the Irish Poker Open has in store for 2026.

Irish Poker Open 2026 Headline Guarantees and Returning Favorites

Let’s tackle the €1M+ names first. The Main Event has five Day 1 flights between April 1 and April 5 and a final scheduled for April 8. While the buy-in remains at €1,150 keep in mind that last year’s edition exceeded expectations by nearly €2 million.

Two other flagship tournaments returning in 2026 are The Mini Irish Open and The Luxon Pay Mystery Bounty. The first of the two, the Mini Main is scheduled with €250 buy-in and a €1M guarantee, with multiple flights throughout the series. The Luxon Pay Mystery Bounty has the same guarantee (€1M) with Day 1s starting March 26.

Apart from the headliners, players can also expect mixed formats. So, everything from Big O and Sviten Special, to 8-Game, HORSE, and NLH Heads-Up brackets. High rollers, shootouts, and championship events are almost daily.

What About the Satellite Structure and Accessibility?

You don’t have to worry to much about that part. The 2026 schedule includes over 30 satellites, many with seats into major events. These run at various price points (from €120 to €610) with milestones and turbos designed to make Main Event access more affordable.

Apart from these, the Irish Poker Open is also playing host to a number of community-driven events, including:

  • The Deaf Poker NLH and PLO Championships
  • The Old Dogs and Young Pups tag-team format
  • The Kings and Queens gender-split event
  • Regional features (America’s Cup, JP Poker Masters, and The Hendon Mob Championship)

A Full-Circle Irish Poker Experience

If anything’s to be said about the Irish Poker Open, it’s that the tournaments is a full circle experience. Staying true to this tradition, the 2026 Irish Poker Open will host a dedicated cash game floor with 50 tables running around the clock.

The Craic Den is also returning for nightly festivities, alongside daily Flip & Gos, single-day turbos, and a wide variety of single re-entry and unlimited re-entry formats.

The final day of the festival (April 6) includes the last flights of the Mini Irish Open, the Mystery Bounty Final, a Triathlon Championship, and the Liam Flood Memorial 6-Max Turbo, which traditionally closes out the schedule. So, you could say the days are long (and packed with poker).

Organizers Paul O’Reilly and JP McCann already confirmed their collaboration with PokerStars and Paddy Power, with online qualifiers expected to begin later this year.

You’ll find the complete schedule (dates, guarantees, and all) on their Irish Open website and while we wait for March, we’d suggest catching up on all the Main Event action from last year right here.
