The 37th Edition of the Banco Masters (Feb 5 – 12)
The Banco Casino in Bratislava hosts numerous events throughout the year, of which many are stand-alone events coming from all directions of Europe. The Banco Masters is a live poker series that is fully in the hands of Banco Casino and guarantees a stunning € 250.000 for its flagship Main Event. Not bad for a mere buy-in of € 170, right?
Before we give you all the information about the upcoming Banco Masters, we have to share the main results of the EA Poker Tour. For the first time in its existence, the EA Poker Tour has made its debut at Banco Casino in the capital city of Slovakia. Guided by a huge marketing approach to get players from all over Europe to one of Europe's main core poker destinations for live poker, it was fingers crossed to see how it all turned out for the newcomer in 2024.

The Main Event attracted a total of 389 entries, from all over Europe. It was eventually Hungarian Miklos Zsuffa who walked away with the trophy of the EA Poker Tour Main Event. The event had an interesting start on day two, where the blinds were rolled back quite heavily. This since the last opening flight ended much earlier than the previous opening flights. Well done by the crew of Banco Casino and the EA Poker Tour, giving all players a fair chance at the ultimate victory of the event.
Banco Masters kicking – Edition Number 37!
The Banco Masters is well-known by all local Slovakian players and also made a name for themselves in the neighboring countries. With a mere buy-in of just € 170, and a guaranteed prize pool of € 250.000, there is not a single chance for poker players to not see the value of it. With Opening flights going from Tuesday 6th of February, until Sunday 11th of February, there are zillions of opportunities to get sort yourself out with a healthy stack for Day Two. Where the last opening flight is played out in hyper mode, the second day will start right after on Sunday. The ultimate final will then be played out to a winner on Monday.
The previous edition of the Banco Masters Main Event was won by Hungarian Peter Kamaras, touching € 34.320 and adding yet another win to his impressive list of cashes. We are curious if Peter will come back to Bratislava to defend his Main Event title this time around.
If you would like to compete in one of the many side events, you can jump in any day of the event in one of the satellite events. The High Roller event cannot be missed either, even the PL Omaha event and the Mystery Bounty.
