Power Path Upgrade: PokerStars Introduces the Spade Pass

Power Path Upgrade: PokerStars Introduces the Spade Pass

Apparently, PokerStars decided their keyword for 2026 would be expansion. First, it was an extended EPT schedule for this season, then their North American collaboration with FanDuel, and now, its a revamped Power Path. Earlier this week, the poker giant announced it would be expanding its Power Path offer to include a brand new Spade Pass.

Here’s what you’ll need to know about it.

A Spade Pass Enters the Power Path Chat

The newest Power Path revamp actually concerns the Bronze Pass, which has previously been valued at $109. With the April upgrade, the Bronze Pass is now jumping to $530, as the people behind PokerStars felt the jump between the $109 Bronze Pass and $2,500 Silver Pass was getting a bit too big to ignore. During the PokerStars’ 25th Anniversary promotion period, the new and improved $530 Bronze Pass will come with a +25% of added value on select passes.

As a result of the Bronze boost, the room also introduced a new $109 pass in its place, aptly named the $109 Spade Pass, which players will use to enter the $109 Sunday Million from now on.

While Power Path underwent some upgrades, not everything is changing. Gold and Silver passes remain the same, stacked at $10,300 and $2,500, respectively.

As part of the fact that PokerStars turns 25 this year, the room is also giving a 25% boost to its newly upgraded Bronze Pass.

The first time players will encounter the 25% boost will be during the PokerStars Anniversary Series, from May 10 to June 3, 2026. To celebrate a quarter of a century, PokerStars moved up its Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP) to March to make room for the newest staple in its live calendar.

Here’s a quick overview of what to expect from the series:

  • Guarantee: $50M
