PokerStars Ignite Series: The First Tournament Series Announced on FanDuel Poker

Back in March, FanDuel and PokerStars announced their long anticipated join venture in the United States, the launch of FanDuel Poker, the new and exclusive home for PokerStars in the US. Now that FanDuel Poker is up and running, the site did the only logical thing that could follow — it announced its first-ever tournament series on the newly established US platform, PokerStars Ignite Series.
As you’ll see from their press release on X, the Ignite Series will run from April 18 to May 4. So, before it begins this Saturday, it only felt write to break down the details.

PokerStars Ignite Series up Close and Personal
The PokerStars Ignite Series will go on for three weeks, taking up the second portion of April and start of May. During the tournament period, there $5 million guaranteed across a total of 88 events, including a $500K Main Event with a $300 buy-in scheduled for May 3. The series will be available across state lines, bringing in players from New Jersey, Michigan, and Pennsylvania.
Apart from the obvious Main Event show stopper, the Ignite Series made room for two two Sunday Dynasty events, one with a $200K guarantee and the other with a $250K one. The first of the two is already up on the schedule this Sunday, April 19, while the bigger one follows next week, April 26.
