Klondike Feelings When Game of Gold Makes Its Debut November 8th!
A couple of days ago, breaking news were revealed to the poker community by GGPoker and Poker After Dark. Of course, we all remember the golden days of Poker After Dark, the poker TV show that absolutely helped bringing the game of poker to the wide mass. Just as Poker After Dark, GGPoker doesn’t need an introduction: they have been legends on the online poker scene for years and they are one of, if not the biggest, online poker site currently operating on the market.
Now, the two joined forces and announced November 1st the launch of Game Of Gold, a brand new poker TV series that seeks to mix the best elements from high-stakes poker action and reality TV. This will surely by a series for the ages that will be very interesting to follow!
16 Legends Battles for $456 000
The concept of Game Of Gold is quite straight forward. In 12 unique episodes, the crowd will follow 16 of the world’s most renowned poker professional as they battle it out in different poker formats, such as Sit N’ Go’s, Heads Up and Indian Poker, as well as a regular Texas No Limit Hold ‘Em tournament. The players are not only in it for the show: the winner will walk away with a $456 000 paycheck, surely an amount big enough to motivate the players to show off their skills against each other.
We’re not joking when we’re saying these are some well-respected poker players. GGPoker ambassador and global poker icon Daniel Negreanu is one of the players who will participate in the gold rush, and it’s fair to say he’s excited for the Game Of Gold to debut November 8th:
