One of the strongest players in Brazil, the founder of Samba Poker Team, Kelvin Kerber played GGMillion$ for the 41st time. This was his third final table and his first victory.

Exactly two weeks ago, the second episode of the documentary Online Poker Millionaires was released on the GGPoker YouTube channel, featuring Kelvin “Kelvin_FP:AR” Kerber as the main character.

Kerber talked about his poker journey and that poker is his whole life. In the film, Kerber reached the GGMillion$ final table (twice), but couldn’t win.

But at the latest final table, he managed to do it.

This was one of the biggest non-phased GGMillion$ events (264 entries). Kerber started 9-max with the third stack.

At 8-max, Kerber eliminated Kudinov in a preflop all-in A2s > KJs, pot 26 bb, both made a flush on the flop.

At 5-max, Kerber eliminated Astedt in a preflop all-in: JJ > 66, pot 40.5 bb — and became the chip leader.

Kerber entered heads-up with 60 bb against Rodrigo Selouan with 113 bb. The heads-up lasted over an hour. In one hand with a stack of 42 bb, Kerber defended the BB with 9 4 and on the board 2 5 Q 6 4 played a check-raise on the flop, bet the turn and went all-in on the river, Selouan folded A K . Both had 56 bb in stacks.

Then AK let Selouan down again. Selouan opened A K , Kerber defended 4 3 . Board 3 6 9 4 K . Flop check-check. Turn Kerber bet 1.7 bb. River Kerber bet 2.8 bb, Selouan raised to 19 bb, Kerber called.

Kerber had 68 bb, Selouan had 24 bb. Then Kerber won a couple more small pots. In the final hand, Selouan got it in with AJs against 88 for a pot of 12 bb. The eights held.
