«Hinaru» Banned from $10K GGMillion$ Final Table — Official GGPoker Statement

«Hinaru» Banned from $10K GGMillion$ Final Table — Official GGPoker Statement

It seemed like a miracle: an unknown player from Mongolia under the nickname «Hinaru» reached the final table of the prestigious $10K GGMillion$ event as the chip leader with 68 BB. Before this, he had earned just $138 in GGPoker tournaments. It looked like a new Moneymaker-style story was about to unfold — but not this time.

Unprecedented Case at the GGMillion$ Final Table: Chip Leader «Hinaru» in Sit-Out from the First Hand

Hinaru never got the chance to finish the tournament. From the very first hand, he was sitting out. Spectators started speculating: was it an internet issue, a power outage, or did he simply oversleep?

The answer came a bit later during the stream — «Hinaru» had been banned. His stack remained at the table and “survived” until 5th place, earning $115,752. However, the reason for the ban was initially unknown.

Reason for Hinaru’s Ban

Today, GGPoker published a blog post titled “Explanation of the GGMillion$ Final Table Violation (November 11, 2025)”. The security team discovered that «Hinaru» was being played by someone other than the registered account holder. This behavior is known as ghosting and is strictly prohibited in all poker rooms.

“This case demonstrates GGPoker’s commitment to proactive enforcement. Our security systems and investigation protocols identified this violation before the final table, not after the tournament concluded. We took action while the event was still in progress to prevent an ineligible player from competing for prize money.

Account sharing and ghosting undermine competitive integrity. When one player competes under another’s account, it creates unfair advantages and damages trust in the game. We will not allow this on our platform.”

Actions Taken

  • «Hinaru» account was blocked before the final table began.
  • The person playing under Hinaru’s name was permanently banned.
  • Both players were permanently banned from all GGPoker Network rooms.
  • $115,752.22 will be redistributed to affected players according to GGPoker’s reconciliation policy.

Second GGMillion$ Scandal in 2025

The GGMillion$ has become one of the most talked-about online tournaments. Just a month ago, a Chinese player known as «RealOA» won the event while receiving real time advices from GGPoker ambassador Tony Lin. GGPoker clarified that «RealOA» was permanently banned, and Ren Lin was suspended indefinitely from all GGPoker, WSOP, and partner platforms. You can read more about that case here.
