CoinPoker Updated Software: Everything Changed

CoinPoker Updated Software: Everything Changed

On March 2, 2026, the most popular crypto room on the market, CoinPoker released its brand new app. The launch of the new app — while contemporary and visually much more vibrant — wasn’t an easy one. The poker community didn’t appreciate the performance issues or the myriad of bugs. It also didn’t react good to the design, which is suspiciously reminiscent of its competitors.

What are the most noticeable changes of the CoinPoker app, which novelties could be seen as questionable, and what will the poker room be doing to fix issues — read in our article.

CoinPoker Became Simultaneously Dark & Shiny

The new design of the room’s client is nothing like it was before March 2026. It has more colors, better section distinction, changes of frames and easier to read plates.

However, you can feel the doppelganger effect right from the first section of Cash Games where stakes are placed on the left side of the window, while tables appear on the right side each time you choose specific stakes.

The brand new All-in Or Fold section has an identical frame, featuring 4-max NLH $0.10/0.25 — $50/100 and PLO4 $0.10/0.25 — $100/200 tables without other specific features.

Both Tournaments and Freerolls sections are also similar to each other, making navigating there easier than before.

Tournament lobbies are now available in two formats — a brief summary to the right of the schedule and the full-size separate window with more detailed information.

Unfortunately, only tables and the main lobby can be resized for your convenience. All other windows can’t be resized and aren’t very convenient to work with. From now on CoinPoker opens a new window almost every time you want to check something,

On the other hand, tables are now quite easy to read, especially in comparison to the previous design.

You can even adjust the visuals according to your taste via Settings. There aren’t many choices but having even a few of them is definitely nicer than having none.

Finally, you can listen to music in the new lobby. Not of your choice, of course — more like some forgettable tune you can hear before the start of a random poker stream.

New Feature for Studying Without Leaving the Room

For those who dreamed about merging studying tools and the poker room lobby into one beautiful and partially convenient thing, CoinPoker has chosen to experiment — and integrated PokerIntel into the new software.

It offers players an overview of their statistics, insights about them and their opponents, access to the EV Chart, Pre-Flop Guide, Analysis of Tagged Hands and Odds Calculator in one place.

As a bonus, players also got an opportunity to follow their run via Showdown Meter — a tool counting your showdowns and bad beats to give you a quick evaluation of your run on CoinPoker from Ice Cold to Fiery Hot.

In theory, all these features are here to help players become better in poker. In reality, other rooms already tried to give players things like that without tremendous success. Still, maybe CoinPoker’s features can change the status quo — we’ll see.

Opponents’ Stats Are on Display Now

Finally, the new software has new player profiles available at the table by clicking on the player. The profiles contain game stats — mini-HUD with a field for the note — a bad beat counter and color grade to mark an opponent.

The design in this case is also nothing new but that’s not the main problem. The player’s profile opens directly on top of the played table — and you can’t move it to the side without closing the profile first to look at what’s happening or perform an action at the table.

At the same time, the hand history opens in a separate window that can’t be reduced in scale — only stretched or compressed vertically.

However, all these and other changes are going to be improved over time “non-stop” — at least, that’s what CoinPoker ambassador Ben Rolle promised on X (formerly Twitter).
