The Poker Chapter is Over for Ebony?
ACR Poker said goodbye to Ebony with a long and vague post that was published on X (ex-Twitter):
“After many years of valued partnership Ebony Kenney and ACR are parting ways. We’re honored to have played such a pivotal role in what she has accomplished on and off the poker table.
During her time as an ACR Team Pro, Ebony shared her passion, authenticity, and unwavering love for the game while helping make poker a more welcoming and inclusive space for players from all backgrounds. As a dedicated advocate for women in poker, she has helped broaden representation, create greater opportunities, and inspire more women to see a place for themselves at the table. We are incredibly proud of all that Ebony has achieved and grateful to have been part of her journey.
On behalf of everyone at ACR, thank you, Ebony, for your years of dedication, friendship, and contributions to the game and the ACR community. We wish you continued success at the tables and beyond.”
The choice of platform for this post is surprising, as Ebony herself deactivated her X account several months prior, meaning she can’t even respond to this text.
Interestingly, the poker community had suspected her departure from the team since mid-May 2026, based on a number of publicly available indicators in that month:
- She completely stopped playing on ACR Poker
- She missed Triton Montenegro while a lot of other ACR Pros were there
- She stopped posting poker-related content and wearing ACR patches in videos and photos on her social media
Moreover, instead of poker, Ebony began publishing a lot of content about mental health, focusing on feelings of loss and searching for ways to rebuild herself:

We hope that she will find herself and perhaps return to poker — but at the moment of parting ways with ACR Poker, the chances of this do not seem high.
How Ebony Kenney Ended Up on Team ACR
Ebony Kenney has been appearing in the poker media since 2019 as a Twitch streamer.
She streamed poker in a relaxed format, presenting her live broadcasts as a safe space for anyone who needed it — drinking wine, dancing and singing, and actively interacting with viewers.

In April 2020, she achieved her first major poker success: under the nickname CinnamonPardy, Ebony won The All-In For America Charity Event on ACR Poker, taking home $1 million in prize money.
That same year, she became a member of Bill Perkins’ Thirst Lounge team but then shot through the ACR Stormers team to the ACR Poker ambassador patch by the end of the year.
Ebony’s Online Poker Results as an ACR Team Pro
Interestingly, Ebony didn’t start winning online after joining the team. According to SharkScope, by the end of 2025, she was still $915,000 on ACR Poker, up from her million-dollar win in early 2020.

Her biggest score in 5 full years was a top bounty of $154,583 from Venom Mystery KO in February 2025. But the rest of her ITM hits didn’t bring her more than $13K.
Ebony Kenney’s Live Poker Career Highlights
Although Ebony hasn’t had much luck online, she has not only succeeded in live poker, but even made poker history with new records on Triton Poker Cyprus 2022.
During that series, Ebony managed to set three separate “women’s” and one personal records:
- She became the first-ever female finalist at the Triton tournament, finishing 5th in the $25K High Roller for $240,500.
- She became the first woman in history to be invited to play in the $200K Coin Rivet Invitational.
- She earned the largest payday for a woman at Triton at the time, finishing 5th in the Coin River Invitational for $1,700,000.
- She achieved a career best cash in the Coin Rivet Invitational.
Ebony’s performance at the series was so emotionally charged that after her elimination from the invitational tournament, she couldn’t hold back her tears — and her lively, human reaction impressed a poker community too accustomed to serious, reserved top regs.

Shortly before the 2026 turmoil, Ebony made history once again, but this time not alone. She reached the final table of the $25K USPO alongside Kristen Foxen and Cherish Andrews, and the first time this many women had reached the final table of a USPO tournament.

However, Ebony and Cherish were the first to be eliminated in quick succession, but at least Kristen reached heads-up.
Small Stain on Ebony’s Reputation
Although Ebony had every chance to become an icon in women’s poker, one controversy prevented her from doing so.
In 2025, she was suspected by the poker community of using an RTA while playing on ACR Poker right after former ACR ambassador Nacho Barbero.
The reason for this was Ebony’s reel on Instagram, in which a range window was visible in the background of the Venom table.

It later turned out that the screenshot was already a year old — but Ebony herself admitted to using GTO Wizard to check hands that had already ended.
As a result, players began asking ACR Poker to fire her for cheating, but the room defended Ebony, claiming that she had been checked and that no violations had occurred.
Although the room formally exonerated Kenney, the poker community gave little credence to its claims, attributing this outcome to favoritism toward its team members in situations that would immediately result in bans for ordinary players.
