Ace the Race on 888poker – Start Your Engine
888poker, or “the triple eights” as they so often are referred to as, is one of those online poker sites that’s been around for a long time. They’ve built up a good reputation ever since their launch back in 2002, and they gained even more trust after 888poker caught 161 RTA users last year.

Ready, Set, Go!
Formula 1 in all its glory, but 888poker’s Ace to Race sounds like quite the exciting poker promotion. It’s also very unique and the author can’t recall seeing anything like this before. Basically, Ace the Race consists of three different poker freerolls, two of them being reoccurring and one being a one-time “grand final” kind of tournament. Players must complete certain challenges in order to be able to join the freerolls.
The Monaco Kings Freeroll is the most common of the freerolls, running three times daily Monday-Saturday. The tournament has a $400 prize pool. A player must complete one of the available challenges in order to get a ticket to this freeroll (don’t worry, we’ll go through all the challenges after we’ve gone through each tournament).
Then we have the London Race Freeroll, with a $4 500 prize pool. This one runs every Sunday at 19:00 GMT. In order to receive a ticket for this one, players need to complete a minimum of nine challenges in one week.
Then we have the king of them all: the Vegas Grandstand Freeroll. This tournament will be played on April 28th (19:00 GMT), which is the last day of the Ace the Race promotion. Be sure to complete 30 or more challenges before it’s time for this poker tournament. If you manage to do this, you’ll receive a ticket and can join the battle for a share of the $100 000 prize pool.
The Challenges
Let’s be honest: this sounds very intriguing. However, what are the challenges that players must complete in order to be entitled for the freeroll tickets? There are a total three challenges and players are free to choose between them.

You get it? For the Monaco Kings Freeroll you only need to complete one challenge per ticket, and you can do this up to three times a day. For the London Race Freeroll, complete nine or more challenges in a week. For the Vegas Grandstand Freeroll, you have until April 28th to complete 30 or more challenges.
Freerolls are arguably the best way for poker players to build up a solid bankroll with minimum risk, which is why we’re predicting Ace the Race to be a very successful promotion.
