888poker XL Winter Series Is Afoot!
Its’ finally time, fellow poker friends! The XL Winter Series if officially up and running at 888poker and players are in for an absolute treat during this series.
Considering this is the first week of the XL Winter Series, it’s a good idea to take a look at what online poker tournaments there are to look forward to in the next couple of days. There’s no doubt that there is a lot of action going on over at 888poker. Without further ado, let’s browse the tournament lobby and see what the XL Winter Series has in store!
Mystery Bounty as Far as the Eye Can See!
XL Winter Series is an online poker tournament series on 888poker that kicked off January 14th and will keep on rolling until the 30th. Mystery Bounty is the format that embosses most of the poker tournaments in the series, and 888poker has picked up on one of the most popular poker trends.
From today (Wednesday 17th) and forward, players can take their shot in the $162 Mystery Bounty start flights. Day 2 will run on Monday 22nd and will be played down to the final table, before the nine remaining will battle it out for the title the following day.
January 18th, however, is really when the cards are flying across the 888poker tables. This is when the first Day 1 flight of the $888 XL Winter Mystery Bounty Main Event will make its appearance in the 888poker XL Winter Series tournament schedule. With a staggering $1 000 000 GTD, you better believe players are coming in hot to the main event.
January 21st is the second of the two times there will be a start flight for the Main Event this week. Both tournaments are starting 20:00 CET.
For the one who prefers a somewhat smaller Buy-In, at least compared to the Main Event, the $25 XL Winter Mystery Bounty Mini Main Event is a must-play tournament. The first one of total ten start flights for the week will be played today, the 17th. If you can’t make it, make sure to clear time in your calendar for any of the other flights. A $100 000 GTD makes the Mini Main Event a very interesting tournament.
Sundays are sacred at 888poker and on the 21st it’s time for the $525 Mystery Bounty High Roller. The tournament will be played until a winner is crowned and the mystery bounties are introduced at level 18. $50 000 is guaranteed in the tournament and we can’t wait to feel the thrill of some high stakes action!
January 18th players can enjoy the $320 XL Winter Super KO. If you fancy a tournament in the more ordinary bounty format alongside your mystery bounty grind, this $20 000 GTD tournament is the one for you.
Run Hot During the Winter!
Considering this is just the first week of the XL Winter Series and it’ll keep going until the 30th, there’s no doubt: it may be cold outside, but 888poker is running hot! A much diversified tournament schedule with Buy-Ins starting at $11 is stretching for more than two weeks. This is the perfect way to end the winter season.
