We’ve officially entered the season of giving, which means poker sites have been queuing up their holiday campaigns over the past week. Over at 888poker, this comes in the form of their December Festival, a digital stocking stuffed with freerolls, challenges, and a tidy $8,000 in prize value.
Here’s everything you need to know.
All the Details: How 888poker’s December Festival Works
The December Festival doesn’t go over the top, but the format is familiar. Every Sunday in December, 888poker is running a $2,000 freeroll, and players can earn a ticket by completing one of three basic challenges between Monday and Sunday.
The December Festival runs across all Sundays in December 2025, with four separate $2,000 freerolls totalling $8,000 in prize money. Players are eligible to claim one freeroll ticket per week, and tickets are granted to anyone completing at least one of the following challenges:
- Win 35 hands in any cash games (minimum stakes of $0.01/$0.02), including PLO 5-6.
- Play tournaments (including BLAST) with buy-ins adding up to $35 or more.
- Wager $25 in total across any 888poker casino games.
These challenges are going to reset weekly, and tickets can be earned anew each Monday–Sunday cycle. The freerolls themselves are going to take place on Sundays, and you’ll need to have made your first deposit to be eligible.
