How to Play in the Global Poker League

The plan is for the Global League to run in monthly cycles, where each cycle includes four Sunday tournaments. These events are open to anyone and everyone for a direct buy-in of $5.50. Each tournament comes with a $1,000 guaranteed prize pool.

For players who want in without spending anything, freeroll access is available three times a week. Each freeroll guarantees 50 tickets into the main tournament.

Here’s how to access the freerolls (every week):

• Run Thursday to Saturday
• 50 main event seats guaranteed per freeroll
• Password-protected: Follow and comment on 888poker’s Instagram to receive access
• Passwords are posted publicly shortly before the event starts

How the Global Poker League Leaderboard Works

Each month’s league has a points leaderboard, based on your finishing position and the total number of entries in each tournament. The formula is straightforward: finish 1st in a 400-player tournament, you earn 400 points; finish last, you get 1.

You can also earn bonus points in two ways:

1. Play all four tournaments in the month = +50 points
2. Participate in weekly Instagram contests = +50 points for five selected winners

The top 20 players with the highest accumulated points at the end of the month win
