Dan Nassif
Dan Nassif is an advertising sales executive for the Riverfront Times Newspaper who arrived in Las Vegas on vacation to play in the 2006 World Series of Poker Main Event. Before coming to Las Vegas he forbade his family and friends from cheering him on in person. However, after making the final table, he finally allowed his loved ones to come to the Rio All-Suites Hotel & Casino to support him in his battle for the World Champion title.
Unfortunately for Dan, he was the first player to bust out of final table play when 2006 World Champion Jamie Gold knocked him out. He received $1,566,858 for his efforts.
