Tilt: Poker player flips final table live on stream

At a poker tournament in Japan, an angry player tried to knock over the final table in front of running cameras during the game.

It happened on Day 2 of the Japan Gold Dragon tournament in Osaka. Less than five minutes were played at the final table and there were nine players in the game. A man in an orange hoodie came to the table and raised the table in the air. He tried to flip the table over and when he couldn't, he dropped it to the floor. As a result, chips were flying everywhere. Players, dealers and staff were at a loss as to what to do as they tried to catch the chips that had fallen to the floor.

The player in the orange hoodie returned briefly afterwards and tried to exchange a few words with the tournament staff. Then he left the tournament area.

Fortunately, the chip counts were quickly reconstructed from the stream recording and the final table ended without further incidents. The tournament organisers let it be known via Twitter that the man had not taken part in the tournament and that his outburst had nothing to do with the tournament.
