Sweet Revenge for 888poker streamer Aaron “abarone68” Barone After Beating Vivian Saliba for Festival Title

All signs point towards the $200,000 Festival Online Main Event, which will cap off a fantastic online series in tremendous MTT fashion.

This week saw some of the best Festival drama so far, including some 888poker streamer competitions deep in an event and a high-stakes MTT crusher leading the way in the Main Event so far.

Aaron “abarone68” Wins $4,650.21 After $109 PKO Victory

888poker streamer Aaron “abarone68” took down a Festival Online title on stream as he masterfully navigated a hyper-active and aggressive tournament.

The motivation was set after he battled against 888poker ambassador Vivian “Vivi.888” Saliba in some BLAST Sit ‘n’ Gos, giving away multiple tickets and a slice of the action on his stream.

He would not find victory against the talented Saliba and would be licking his wounds until he entered the $12,000 $109 PKO. From 145 runners, Barone and Saliba would find themselves both on the final table and battling once again, but instead of some BLAST SNGs, they would be fighting for almost $5,000 and a Festival Online title.

It would be Barone who had the last laugh, watching Vivian Saliba go out in 5th as he cruised past a tough final table to capture the title.

“CallSimples” Makes The Correct Decisions To Win $1,940.82

The $22 $10,000 PKO 8-Max would garner over 535 runners and be one of the more challenging tournaments in this week’s TFO schedule. The Brazilian “CallSimples” did light work, scooping bounties left and right as he got almost $2,000 added to his bankroll.

The Festival Online Main Event Approaches as MTT Crusher Takes Early Chip-Lead

The Festival Online Main Event has run its first few Day 1 flights, already having some well-known and talented poker players enter the mix.

“Farrugia_1”, the well-known Maltese MTT crusher, came and conquered on an early Day 1 flight, bagging 118K in chips as they went through to Day 2 in pole position.

Well-known poker pro and WSOP bracelet winner Jessica “JessicaTeusl” entered the same flight but would fall six places short of qualifying for Day 2, leaving the Austrian pro having to re-enter another flight to get their stack through to the final day.
