Swedish Poker Pro Martin Jacobson joins PokerListings in Exciting New Collaboration
PokerListings has confirmed that Swedish professional poker player Martin Jacobson will team up with the brand for an "exciting new collaboration". The former World Champion joins forces with PokerListings.com to create an exclusive content hub for their online community and fans worldwide.
Anticipated to launch in May 2022, the content hub will not only include blog posts and articles but also offer educational video poker tutorials built for leisure players who seek to improve their game strategy.
"I'm super excited to partner up with one of the largest media platforms in poker and be able to share my poker knowledge with the PokerListings community. I'm looking forward to sharing strategy tips, technical hand breakdowns, and an inside look into the life and mind of a professional poker player," said Martin Jacobson.
The former 888poker ambassador, who lives in East London, is a real-life example of manifesting his dream of starting from the bottom and eventually becoming a World Champion. Born and raised in Stockholm, Martin's first introduction to poker came when he turned 18, but it wasn't until his plans and aspirations to become a top culinary chef were side-tracked that he started dedicating more time towards his then newfound passion, poker.
In the following years, Martin kept racking up significant results both online and on the live circuit worldwide. And in 2014, pro-Jacobson won the prestigious WSOP Main Event, a coveted Gold Bracelet, and £7.5 million in prize money.
His outstanding performance got praised all around the poker world, and he received an award for the best "Tournament Performance of the Year" at the European Global Poker Index Awards in Malta and got inducted into the "Swedish Poker Hall of Fame".

Described by Altikardes as a "perfect match", the collaboration between the brand and a 35-year-old poker ace is expected to bring both fresh entertainment and heaps of knowledge in the form of comprehensive guides and tutorials to the PokerListings' online community who want to learn a game or to improve their existing skills.
